NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Despite out-shooting their opponents by a 15-5 margin, Trinity Women's Soccer stumbled on the road Saturday afternoon as a second-half goal gave the hosts Holy Cross the 1-0 decision.

The Trolls would fire 12 shots in the first half of the match, but the Holy Cross goalkeeper recorded six saves on six shots on goal to keep the match in a scoreless tie. In the 66th minute, the home side broke through with the lone goal of the day to take the lead.

Nerea Genc and Litzy Corona each had two shots on goal to lead the Trinity attack. Michelle Urribarri finished with one save on five shots faced.

The Trolls will look to bounce back on Tuesday afternoon, when they return to the Schaaf Athletic Complex to face Olivet Nazarene. Kickoff with the Tigers is set for 3:30 p.m.
