Back-to-back kills from Neighbors in game two highlighted a 9-2 run that would give the Trolls a 16-10 lead. After a sideout for the Bees, Trinity reeled off six straight to double up the visitors, 22-11 and would go on to even the match with a 25-13 win.
Trinity would jump out to a 9-3 lead in game three, but St. Ambrose would battle back, eventually taking their first lead of the set at 14-13. Kills from Cannon and Sharide Sykes along with an ace from Bartz would fuel a five-point run to go up 18-14.
