Deb (Noort) Lindemulder '85 was a two sport star for Trinity from 1981-84. As a four-year player for the volleyball program she led the team to the NCCAA national tournament on three occasions, earning NCCAA National All-Tournament recognition each time. She was named to the NCCAA All-American team in 1983 and was named NCCAA Most Valuable Player in 1984, leading Trinity to a second place national finish. Lindemulder played three years on the basketball team, averaging 18.6 points per game for her career. She ranks first at Trinity in career field goal percentage (.581) and single season field goal percentage (.616). She led the squad to a pair of NCCAA District championships and two appearances in the NCCAA national tournament. Lindemulder earned Trinity's Women's Athletics Award in 1983-84.


Kevin Koeman '02 established himself as one of the top collegiate basketball players in Illinois history while playing for the Trolls from 1998-02. He scored a school record 3,007 points, which ranks second all-time on the Illinois collegiate scoring list. He was a four-time NCCAA All-American, three-time NAIA All-American and was named All-CCAC in each of his four years. In addition, he was named CCAC Freshman of the Year in 1998-99, CCAC Player of the Year in 1999-00 and 2000-01, and was honored with the NCCAA Pete Maravich Player of the Year Award in 2001-02. Koeman leads the Trinity career record book in field goal percentage (.621), field goals made (1,162), free throws made (564) and scoring average (22.4 ppg.). He is also second in career rebounds (907) and seventh in career assists (316). He scored a school-record 853 points in 2001-02. Off the court he earned NAIA and NCCAA Scholar-Athlete honors, and was the recipient of the Keith Albers Award in 2001-02.


J. Scott Stan '89 became a prolific scorer for the men's soccer team from 1985-88, playing under Hall of Fame coach David Ribbens.  He was named to the NCCAA All-American team three times. He holds the Trinity record for career goals (86) and career points (198), and set the school mark for goals in a season (28) in 1986. He also dished out 26 assists in his career. During his four seasons Stan recorded three goals in a game on 10 occasions, and scored four goals in a game four times. He was named Trinity's Keith Albers Award winner in 1988-89.



 


Suzanne (Wiltjer) Jonkman '90 was a standout performer for the women's basketball team from 1986-90. She earned NCCAA All-American honors in each of her four years and was named the CCAC Player of the Year in 1989-90.  She led the team to the NCCAA national tournament three times and earned NCCAA National All-Tournament honors in 1987 and 1989. Jonkman holds numerous school records, including career rebounds (1,437) career scoring average (20.3 ppg.), and single-season rebound average (13.9 rpg.), and also holds Trinity records for most points (50) and most rebounds (26) in a single game. She ranks second all-time in career points (2,359) and career field goals made (1,011), and third in career field goal percentage (.512). Jonkman received Trinity's Women's Athletics Award in 1989-90.
