PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – Abby Van Beek not only connected for her first career home run – off the scoreboard in left field, she also pitched a complete game to open the twin bill between Trinity Christian College and St. Ambrose on Wednesday, March 24. Unfortunately, Van Beek's efforts weren't quite enough to overcome the Fighting Bees, falling 8-4. A late-inning Troll rally in the nightcap was cut short due to darkness with Ambrose completing the sweep 11-4.
