PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – Abby VanBeek went the distance and struck out 12 Trinity International University (Ill.) batters in the Trinity Christian College softball conference opener on Saturday, March 27, but it wasn't enough to come away with a win as the Trojans used a seventh inning comeback to take a 4-1 win. The Trolls offense picked up in the nightcap, led by a 3-for-4 outing by Emily Montalvo, but the Trolls still fell 5-3.
