Box Score 2 JOLIET, Ill. – After a brief pause from competition, the Trinity Christian College softball team played one final regular season double header before heading into the upcoming Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Tournament. The Trolls held the University of St. Francis to just one run through five innings in the opener, even tying the game in the top half of the sixth, but eventually fell 7-1. The Saints didn't waste time in the nightcap, jumping out to an early lead to came away with an 8-0 win.

Trinity enters the 12-team, double elimination CCAC Tournament which runs from May 6-8 at the Crown Point SportsPlex in Crown Point, Indiana. The Trolls enter the tournament as the No. 11 seed and will face No. 6 seed Calumet College of St. Joseph (Ind.) at 11 a.m. on Thursday morning.
