Box Score 2 PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – Just four months ago, the Trinity Christian College women's volleyball team finished the 2020 season at the Opening Round of the NAIA National Tournament. On Friday, Aug. 27-28, the Trolls kicked off the 2021 season hosting the University of Saint Francis (Ind.) and Lourdes University (Ohio). With several new faces on the court, the Trolls showed their growing pains a little in the opener, falling in straight sets. They bounced back on day two, coming from behind to take a 3-1 win over the Grey Wolves.
Amanda Lichtenstein dished out 75 assists, including 48 against Lourdes. Sarah Kiwan, Brooke Veldman and rookie Hannah Schuringa finished the weekend with 20 kills each to lead the offense.
