Box Score Lincoln, Ill - Trinity Christian College men's volleyball (6-5, 2-1 CCAC) began a three-game week at Lincoln College (3-7, 1-2 CCAC) on Monday night and came away with a dominating three-set win. The Trolls rode the hot hand of senior Adam Becker and sophomore Alex Costa. The two combined for 22 kills and Becker earned the first double-double of the season with 10 kills and 10 digs.
Costa's serve was unstoppable. He finished with five aces. Becker earned his 10 kills efficiently. He had an attack percentage of .438 (10-3-16). Senior Jake Ostema just missed out on a double-digit attacking night. He had nine kills and did damage early in set one to set the tone for the Trolls.
NOTES & NUMBERS:
- Sophomore Bartlomiej Maciczak had a season high three kills. He also grabbed two blocks.
- Becker earned his fourth double digit kill performance of the year.
- Sophomore Nick Mioni and Ryan Schmidt led the passing attack. Mioni had 23 assists and Schmidt added 13 assists.
- Trinity Christian College held Lincoln College to an attack percentage of .091.
