Box Score Kissimmee, FL - For the second consecutive day, Trinity Christian College softball (2-6-1) dealt with rain in the Sunshine State and was unable to finish games. On Tuesday, the Trolls made it to the third inning before both games were cancelled. On Tuesday, Trinity made it through five innings with Carlow University, but the game ended in a tie.
The Trolls trailed 4-0 after the first inning, but fought their way back. Senior Hailey Jurasz grounded out to bring home a run and the Troll made it a 4-1 game in the second inning. In the third inning, this time it was freshman Alex Hofman with a groundout to manufacture a run and Trinity cut the lead to 4-2.
In the fourth inning, freshman Jenna O'Brien singled to score a run and O'Brien later came around and scored on a wild pitch to tie the game at four. The rain started to come down though and despite waiting around for three hours, the Trolls called it a day.
UP NEXT: Trinity will take on University of Northwestern Ohio tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. CST. The Trolls will then come back for a 10:30 game against Lourdes University.
