SAN ANTONIO, Tex. – Trinity wrapped up their Texas trip on Saturday afternoon, as the Trolls fell to Our Lady of the Lake (Tex.), 78-64.
Team Leaders
• Desire Berrien led the Trolls with 15 points, going 9-for-10 from the free throw line, and nine rebounds.
• Hannah Schuringa tallied 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting, with seven boards and a pair of blocked shots.
• Sedona Anderson collected ten points, as the junior reaches double figures for the fourth time in five games while collecting a team-high four assists.
How it Happened
• A three-pointer from Anderson midway through the first quarter would put the Trolls in front, 9-8, but the Saints responded with a 12-2 run over the next two and a half minutes to take a 20-11 lead by the 2:21 mark. Scores from Anderson and Kyla Smith closed the gap to 23-17 by the end of the first quarter.
• The Saints' lead reached as high as 13 points in the second quarter, 30-17 midway through the period. A Leilani Murray jumper and four straight points from Berrien brought the Trolls back to within single digits at the halftime break, 32-25.
• Our Lady of the Lake would out-score Trinity 26-16 in the third quarter, pulling away and staying in front the rest of the way.
