PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – The Trolls struggled to find their shot on Saturday afternoon, as Trinity men's basketball fell at home to St. Mary-of-the-Woods (Ind.), 87-48.

• Brady Loerop led the Trolls (2-2) with 17 points, most for a Trinity player this season, along with a team-high five rebounds.
• Johnny Dieck scored eight points of the bench, while Jadon Williams scored seven.
How it Happened
• The Pomeroys (3-1) jumped out to a quick lead, opening on a 13-3 run over the first four and a half minutes of play.
• Loerop scored to cut the deficit to eight with a bucket at the 14:59 mark, but SMWC responded with seven straight points, and would lead by double digits the rest of the way.
