KISSIMMEE, Fla. – The postseason run for Trinity Men's Soccer came to a heartbreaking end on Tuesday night, as the Trolls dropped their second match in the group stage, 2-1 to Central Christian (Kan.) on a last-second goal.
Team Leaders
• Senior Fernando Rosales scored the lone goal for the Trolls (9-8-4), tying the match in the 71st minute with his sixth goal of the season. Rosales' goal ties the Crestwood native for the team's scoring lead, with all six goals coming in the last nine matches.
• Goalkeeper Giorgos Christodoulou finished with one save on the night, as the Tigers (12-4-4) managed just eight shots throughout the match.
How it Happened
• Central Christian would take an early lead, scoring in the 4th minute despite being out-shot by the Trolls 4-2 in the first half.
• Rosales would tie the game with his goal in the 71st minute, assisted by Ivan Perez.
• With less than three seconds remaining in the match, the Tigers would have a shot just cross the goal line before getting cleared by a Trinity defender, giving Central Christian the win in the final moments.

• The Trolls close the book on the 2023 season having collected nine victories, the most for the program since 2011.
