CHICAGO, Ill. – A slow start put Trinity behind early, as the Trolls fell in conference play at Roosevelt on Saturday afternoon, 70-49 to the Lakers.
Team Leaders
• Kirsten Kamholz led the Trolls (0-10, 0-5 CCAC) in scoring for the first time this season, scoring 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting in 16 minutes off the bench.
• Sedona Anderson and Kyla Smith each finished with eight points on the day.
• Kamholz and Desire Berrien each pulled down a team-high five rebounds.
How it Happened
• Kamholz scored the Trolls' first seven points of the game, and all but one of Trinity's first-quarter field goals as Roosevelt (3-7, 2-2 CCAC) jumped out to a 21-8 lead in the final minute of the opening period.
• Roosevelt maintained a double-digit lead the rest of the way, out-scoring Trinity 15-9 in the second quarter and in both third and fourth periods.
