BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Program records continued to fall last weekend, while another five NCCAA tickets were punched as Trinity Track & Field competed at the Olivet Nazarene Invitational on Friday.
Program Records
• Freshman sprinter Madison Moraga improved upon his school record time in the 60m Dash, lowering Trinity's all-time mark by two hundredths of a second to 7.03. Moraga placed second overall and has hit the NCCAA standard in all three appearances in the event this season.
• Quinton Boyd became the record holder in the men's weight throw, after setting the record in the shot put earlier this year. Boyd cleared 47' 1.75" (14.37m) to qualify for the NCCAA Championships in his second event this season with a fourth-place result.
National Qualifiers
• In addition to Boyd in the weight throw, five other Trolls hit qualifying standards throughout the day.
• Zac Maher's time of 2:01.93 in the 800 meters qualifies the senior for the NCCAA Championships, finishing seventh overall. Dustin Hudak placed second in the event, with a time of 1:58.40.
• On the women's side, Alyssa Busker formally punched her ticket to nationals and will defend her NCCAA national title in the 200 meters, winning the event with a time of 25.69.
• Jordyn Fleener picked up a win in the 800 meters with a time of 2:26.50, and qualified for the NCCAA national meet in her second event, and previously qualifying in the mile run.
• In the women's high jump, Abigail Hoekzema qualified for the NCCAA Championships with a third-place finish, clearing 4' 11" (1.50m).
• Paige Stefanek will make her first nationals appearance as a Troll, after finishing seventh in the women's weight throw by clearing 41' 0.25" (12.50m).
Personal Bests
• Five Trolls set personal records on the day, including Ashley Lopez, who set P.R.s in both 60 meters (9.30) and 200 meters (31.84).
• Aalyssa Gunn improved on her mark in the high jump, clearing 4' 9" (1.45m) to finish 6th.
• Two P.R.s were set in the women's shot put, by Kristen Espinoza (31' 0.5"; 9.46m) and Annika Biel (24' 7.25"; 7.50m).
Race Wins
• The Trolls came away with three victories on the day, including Busker's and Fleener's performances in the 200 and 800 meters.
• Milos Pendic picked up a win in the men's 3,000 meters, posting a time of 8:41.48; Pendic qualified for the NCCAA Championships earlier this season, and will defend his national title in the event next month.

• Trinity will close out the indoor regular season this weekend, when they compete at the Redhawk Invite, hosted by Ripon (Wisc.) on Saturday, February 3.
