PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – David Hernandez extended his lead in the CCAC scoring race on Tuesday, as the sophomore recorded his ninth goal of the year in a 1-0 win over Viterbo at the Schaaf Athletic Complex.

Hernandez's goal in the 33rd minute would hold up the rest of the way, in an even match that saw the Trolls out-shoot the V-Hawks by a 7-6 margin. Trinity goalkeeper Roberto Navarro would make four saves to secure the win, as the freshman earned his fourth win of the season and third clean sheet.

The Trolls remain perfect in CCAC play, and face a four-match road swing in league play, beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 8 with a trip to Judson.
