DAVENPORT, Iowa – Ending a streak of eight straight matches with a goal, the Trinity offense stumbled on Saturday afternoon as the Trolls fell on the road, 5-0 at St. Ambrose.
The home team would score twice in the first half, with goals coming in the 16th and 24th minutes, before adding in three more after the break.
Nerea Genc, Gema Garibay, and Litzy Corona all led the Trolls with two shots on goal apiece, while goalkeeper Michelle Urribarri finished the day with seven saves, matching her season high.
The Trolls will look to bounce back next Saturday, when they travel to Holy Cross to face the Saints at 11:00 a.m. CT.
