BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – A goal in the opening minutes gave the Trolls the early advantage, but the host side would respond in the second half, as Trinity exited the 2024 CCAC Women's Soccer Tournament with a 3-1 road loss to Olivet Nazarene on Wednesday afternoon.

Senior midfielder Jade Maldonado put the Trolls in front with her goal in the 5th minute, scoring her fourth of the season, as Litzy Corona contributed with her fifth assist of the year.

Olivet Nazarene would respond at the start of the second half, scoring the equalizer in the 47th minute. Nine minutes later, the Tigers would score again to claim a 2-1 lead. The home side would put the match out of reach with just over two minutes left to play with a third goal.

The Trolls will now prepare for the NCCAA North Central Regional beginning next week. Game times, opponents, and tournament format will be announced at a later date.
