Trolls close out regular season with Senior Day against Bees

PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – Trinity Women's Basketball celebrated the careers of three seniors before their final game on Saturday, as the Trolls wrapped up the 2023-24 campaign with a 72-52 loss to St. Ambrose inside DeVos Gymnasium.

Team Leaders

• Sedona Anderson led the way for the Trolls, scoring 16 points with six rebounds and three assists.

• Lorena Arnett finished with nine points, going 3-for-4 from the floor in just seven minutes off the bench.

• Hannah Schuringa scored six points with five rebounds and three blocked shots.

How it Happened

• St. Ambrose came out strong in the first quarter, hitting three three-pointers as the visitors built a 14-4 lead midway through the period. Anderson's three to close out the opening period would pull the Trolls back to within single digits, 22-14.

• Trinity was held to single digits in the second and third quarters, as the Bees continued to pull away. The Trolls would out-score St. Ambrose in the fourth quarter 20-14, led by Arnett's nine points.
