KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Another shutout pitched by senior Jacob Hutcherson gave Trinity Baseball a strong start at the NCCAA World Series, but the Trolls would be unable to keep up with opposing offenses in their next two games, bowing out of the tournament on Monday.

The Trolls took a 3-0 victory over Kansas Christian to open play Monday morning, before falling to Oakland City (Ind.) 14-4 later that night. Trinity's season came to an end on Wednesday, with a 11-0 loss to Columbia International (S.C.).
