CROWN POINT, Ind. – Trinity Softball would see the season come to a close on Friday afternoon, as the Trolls battled Roosevelt in a pitcher's duel but ultimately came up just short in a 3-1 loss at the CCAC Tournament.

WP: Norman (12-5) • LP: Halmon (8-10)
• The Trolls would take an early lead, as Charlie Sartoris reached base on an error in the first plate appearance of the day. The senior then stole both second and third before scoring on Maddy McIntyre's sac fly for a 1-0 advantage.
• Roosevelt would take the lead in the bottom of the 2nd with a bases-loaded double, scoring two runs to move in front. The Trolls would strand a pair of runners in both the 3rd and 4th innings, as the Lakers tacked on another run to extend their lead in the bottom of the 3rd.
• Halmon threw all six innings for Trinity, allowing three runs on the day. Giulia Cianfriglia had the team's lone extra-base hit of the game, finishing 1-for-3 with a double in the 6th inning.
