PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – Danny Staskunas would lead the Trolls in scoring for the first time this season, but Trinity were unable to overcome a slow start, falling at home to Indiana Northwest on Saturday afternoon, 94-68.

The visiting Redhawks would jump out to a 9-2 lead in the opening minutes, and would stay in front the rest of the way. Ognjen Petkovic's three at the 16:13 mark closed the gap to 11-8 before Indiana Northwest would score eight of the next ten to stretch their lead to 19-10 with 13:53 left in the first half.

Another 8-0 run for the visitors would give them a 17-point lead with two minutes left in the first half; the Redhawks would maintain a double-digit lead the rest of the way to close out the win.

Staskunas finished with 16 points, going 4-for-10 from beyond the arc to lead the Trolls. Petkovic tallied 15 points to set a new career high, while Jacob Spaulding came off the bench to finish in double figures with 12 points.

The Trolls return to DeVos Gymnasium on Wednesday night, when they host St. Ambrose at 7:30 p.m.
