PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – A goal in the 66th minute would prove to be the difference, as Trinity Men's Soccer came up just short against Olivet Nazarene on Saturday afternoon at the Schaaf Athletic Complex.
After a scoreless first half that saw the Trolls overcome a 7-2 shot deficit, with two saves from Samuel Negus, Trinity began to build momentum, out-shooting the Tigers 4-1 after the break, before the visitors would counter with a second-half goal to take the lead.
Trinity will look to bounce back on Wednesday, when they travel to Holy Cross. Kickoff from Notre Dame, Ind. is set for 7:00 p.m.
