BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Trinity struggled to slow a hot-shooting Olivet Nazarene squad on Tuesday night, falling on the road in CCAC play, 108-77.

The Trolls shot a steady 52.7% (29-55) from the floor, including an 11-for-21 (52.4%) performance from three-point range, but struggled on the other end of the floor as the Tigers would shoot at a 64.3% (45-70) clip throughout the night, knocking down 15 three-pointers in the process.

Back-to-back three-pointers from Tylan Harris and Aiden Cilladi gave Trinity an early 6-3 lead. Both teams would trade the lead three times before a 10-3 run for the home team would put Olivet in front 26-18 at the 10:03 mark of the first half. The Tigers' lead would stretch to double figures before the end of the half, with two quick scores in the final minute resulting in a 52-40 lead for ONU at the break.

An 18-4 run to open the second half would put the Tigers in control, 70-44 with 14:55 remaining, as Olivet Nazarene remained in front the rest of the way.

Brandon Adorno led the Trolls with 14 points, while Cilladi finished in double figures with 12 points along with five rebounds and four assists.

The Trolls are back in action after the holiday weekend, when they return to DeVos Gymnasium to match up with the Indiana Northwest RedHawks on Wednesday, Dec. 3. Tipoff is set for 6:00 p.m.
