WHITING, Ind. – A tough night on the attack for the Trolls would lead to a straight set loss on Tuesday night, as Trinity Men's Volleyball fell on the road at Calumet, 25-13, 25-22, 25-19.
Freshman Zach Supanich would lead the way with seven kills, but as a unit the Trolls would commit 20 attacking errors to their 22 kills in the match, finishing with a .028 hitting percentage. On the other side of the net, Calumet would hit at a .338 clip, with 32 kills on the night.
Tim Slattery would register a team-high nine assists splitting time as the team's setter, while Caden Figus led the defense with four digs as well as a team-high two service aces.
The Trolls return to DeVos Gymnasium for an exhibition match on Friday night, when they host College of DuPage (Ill.) at 7pm.
