Match Preview
• Trinity Women's Volleyball continues the early season with their second weekend trip, as the Trolls are set to compete at Siena Heights (Mich.) on Friday and Saturday. Trinity will take on the host Cougars on Friday evening, before facing Spring Arbor (Mich.) and Lawrence Tech (Mich.) Saturday morning.
• The Trolls are coming off a pair of four-set losses last week, to Grand View (Iowa) and Avila (Mo.). In the season-opener, Trinity would take the opening set against the Vikings 25-18, but drop the next three, including a 26-24 battle in game three.
• Against Avila, the Trolls fell behind early, dropping the first two games before surviving a 29-27 game three to extend the match.

Dej'a Williams has led the Trinity offense so far this year, with 27 points. Williams is the only Troll to average over three points per set (3.38), on averages of 2.38 kills per set and 1.13 blocks per set.
• On the back line,
Jorieliss Caraballo has anchored the defense, averaging 3.5 digs per set, along with a team-best .971 receiving percentage.
• As a team, the Trolls lead the CCAC with an average of 2.25 blocks per set. Williams paces the Trolls with nine total blocks, including seven solo blocks in eight sets this season.
• Offensively, Trinity ranks 4th in the CCAC with 14.5 points per set, and 5th in the league in assists, averaging 9.88 per set.
Sharide Sykes has paced the team with 5.13 assists per set, with
Alexis Bartz sharing responsibilities to the tune of 3.38 assists per set.
• The Trolls hold a combined 15-4 record all-time against their three opponents this week - 5-1 over Siena Heights, 9-2 over Spring Arbor, and are tied 1-1 in two meetings with Lawrence Tech.
• Trinity fell in straight sets to Lawrence Tech last season, but have not faced Spring Arbor since a home loss in 2022, and the Trolls haven't seen Siena Heights since 2013.
