COLUMBUS, Ind. – Pablo Nielfa's goal late in the second half would allow Trinity Men's Soccer to escape with a draw in a non-conference battle on Tuesday night, as the Trolls took a 1-1 stalemate on the road against Indiana Columbus.

The Trolls would out-shoot the Crimson Pride (3-1-1) by a 17-7 margin, but would surrender the first goal of the match in the 23rd minute.

Trailing 1-0 for over an hour in the match, Trinity would finally break through with the equalizer in the 87th minute, when Pablo Nielfa would score his first goal of the season.

Including Nielfa, five Trolls would register two shots on goal in the match, but the Columbus keeper would come away with nine saves to keep his team in the match. Roberto Navarro made three stops in goal for Trinity.

The Trolls wrap up the non-conference portion of their schedule on Saturday, with a trip to Grace (Ind.). Kickoff with the Lancers is set for 5:00 pm CT.
