St. Ambrose would lead game two wire-to-wire, starting out on a 6-1 run and holding off the Trolls the rest of the way despite a quick rally that brought Trinity to within a point at 6-5. Trailing 18-10, the Trolls scored seven of the next out of a timeout, making it a three-point game at 20-17 after kills from Neighbors and Williams. The Bees would close the door with five of the next six to take a two-set lead in the match.

The Bees would go up 9-4 to start game three, before three straight aces from Gianna  Dimundo closed the gap to 9-8. The home team would pull away again, with a  6-1 run that put the Bees back in front 16-10. Again the Trolls would hold firm at match point for three plays, but would ultimately come up short on the comeback, 25-22.
