UPLAND, Ind. — Trinity Christian was unable to break through in a 2-0 setback at Taylor on Wednesday afternoon at Turner Stadium.
The Trolls created their best look in the first half when Maddie Boogerd put a shot on target in the 30th minute, but the attempt was saved. That proved to be the lone shot of the day for Trinity.
Goalkeeper Michelle Urribarri kept the Trolls in the contest with a busy afternoon in net, finishing with a season-high 11 saves; the senior recorded five in the first half and six more after the break.
Trinity (2-2) heads back on the road Friday, Sept. 5, for a matchup at Rochester Christian (Mich.).
