PONTIAC, Mich. – Trinity Women's Soccer would out-shoot their opponents on Friday night, but were unable to find the back of the net as the Trolls came up short at Rochester Christian (Mich.), 2-0.

The host Warriors would strike first in the 12th minute with their first goal of the night. Four Trolls would put shots on frame in the first half, but all four were stopped by the Rochester goalkeeper to keep the shutout intact.

Freshman Lily Cerjak fired two shots on goal in the 54th and 55th minutes, and Madison Tamminga recorded her second shot on goal of the match in the 65th, but Trinity were still held off the scoreboard. Rochester Christian would find their second goal in the 63rd to secure the win.

The Trolls return to the Schaaf Athletic Complex for their next two matches, beginning with the non-conference finale with Saint Francis (Ind.) on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 2:30 p.m.
