2020: Started in two of the three games he pitched in … season was shortened due to COVID-19 … had a 4.26 ERA across 12.2 innings … struck out 13 batters and walked five batters … of the 57 batters faced, only 11 batters got hits off of him … has a 1.000 fielding percentage.

High School: Played baseball for four years at Chicago Christian High School ... was a member of the varsity team for three years ... earned All-Conference honors twice ... received Conference MVP one year ... helped his team to a third place finish at the state championships ... was also on the soccer and basketball teams and was part of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Undecided major ... son of Ken and Jamie Deckinga ... has a sister Kayli ... father is an alumnus of Trinity.
