Box Score PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – Senior Day brings a range of emotions to the coaching staff and the players that no other day can bring. A day of reflection, a day of celebration, a reality check day. On Saturday, Oct. 23 the Trinity Christian College women's soccer team recognized five players for the contributions they made to the program over the last four – or five years in the case of Kaleigh VanElst. Unfortunately, the Trolls faced off on the pitch with a Roosevelt University team that is hitting their stride late in the season, falling 2-0.
Over the past four seasons, the Trinity Soccer team has a collective overall record of 62-11-2 for an astounding .805 winning percentage. They have been the team to beat in the CCAC, having a 37-5 record and regular season titles in 2018, 2019 and 2020 – when they went a perfect 10-0 and a Tournament championship in 2019. They have appeared in the NAIA National Tournament twice and are the 2018 NCCAA National Champions.
