Box Score 2 CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky./GEORGETOWN, Ky. – They had waited nearly 450 days – 15 months, but on Friday, Feb. 4 the Trinity Christian College women's soccer finally returned to the pitch. The Trolls left the subzero windchills of Illinois and headed south to Kentucky for a two-match weekend, facing Thomas More University and Georgetown College. On Friday, Trinity needed just the unassisted goal off the foot of Caitlin Bergsma to pick up their first win of the season, downing the Saints 1-0.
Against Georgetown on Saturday, the Trolls outshot the Tigers 18 to 10, but just couldn't find the back of the net. Ally Kranstz finished the afternoon in goal with three saves, but Georgetown was able to sneak two shots past her to come away with a 2-0 win. Brianna Uhl led the Trolls with four shots, including one on-goal.
