Box Score Bourbonnais, Ill. - Trinity Christian College baseball (8-16, 4-7 CCAC) went down to Bourbonnais, Ill. on Monday for one nine-inning game against Olivet Nazarene (19-14, 12-2 CCAC). The Trolls held a 4-0 lead after three inning, but the Tigers mauled Trinity in the fourth inning. A 10-run fourth, helped Olivet Nazarene run away with the game. Olivet Nazarene won, 11-4. The game was called after seven innings due to darkness.
The Trolls were the home team because the game was originally scheduled to be played at Trinity Christian College, but was changed because of field conditions.
Junior Mike Moralez started the scoring in the first inning. An RBI double scored junior Jordan Veldman. Veldman drove in two runs in the second inning. His double made it 3-0 Trinity. Sophomore Oli Carmody brought home another run in the second inning. An RBI single made it 4-0.
Veldman led the Trinity lineup. He went 3-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBIs.
The fourth inning unraveled quickly. The Tigers had nine of their 14 hits in the frame and took a 10-4 lead. They added a solo home run in the seventh inning from Donovan Yelle and led 11-4. The game was called after seven due to darkness.

- Jordan Veldman has eight hits in his last four games. He has lifted his average to .272.
- Junior Matt Ostrowski went 2.1 scoreless innings out of the bullpen.
