PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – With his second and third goals in the past two matches, senior Fernando Rosales led Trinity to a 4-2 victory at home over St. Ambrose on Saturday afternoon.

St. Ambrose (3-6-2, 3-4 CCAC) would strike first, scoring just 61 seconds into the match for a 1-0 lead, but less than two minutes later the Trolls (6-5-3, 4-3-1 CCAC) responded, as Martin Markovic scored his fourth goal of the season to even the score.

Rosales would give Trinity the lead in the 32nd minute, scoring on a pass from Ivan Perez. After taking a 2-1 lead into the halftime break, the Crestwood, Ill. native scored again in the 61st minute, with Markovic earning an assist on the play.

The Bees would get one back in the 73rd minute, before Perez put the match away in the 81st minute with his team-leading 6th goal of the season.

Trinity will look to make it two wins in a row, next Saturday, October 21 when they host Holy Cross. Kickoff from the Schaaf Athletic Complex is set for 12:00 p.m.
