JOLIET, Ill. – A cold shooting performance on Wednesday night put Trinity men's basketball behind early, as the Trolls dropped a road CCAC matchup at St. Francis, 88-43.
Team Leaders
• Brady Loerop led the way with 15 points on 7-of-11 shooting along with three rebounds.
• Jadon Williams finished with seven points, going 3-for-6 from the floor along with a team-high four boards.
• Malachi Peasley led the bench in scoring for the Trolls (2-4, 0-2 CCAC), posting five points.
Now it Happened
• The Saints (2-2, 1-1 CCAC) would open with a 7-0 lead in the first two minutes of the game, and would hold the lead the rest of the night.
• The Trolls kept the deficit to five on Peasley's three-pointer at the 7:07 mark, but St. Francis closed out the half on a 15-5 run, taking a 38-23 lead at the break.
• St. Francis would pull away in the second half as the Trolls struggled to find momentum, out-scoring Trinity 50-20 after the break.
