TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – In their final road trip of 2023, Trinity men's basketball struggled to keep pace with the host Pomeroys, falling to St. Mary-of-the-Woods (Ind.), 94-55 on Monday night.
Team Leaders
• Danny Staskunas led the Trolls (3-8) in scoring, finishing with 16 points on 5-of-9 shooting.
• Dustin Hudak tallied a season-high 13 points for his second double-figure game of the season.
How it Happened
• After a fast-paced two minutes to start the game that gave the home team a slight 6-4 lead, the Pomeroys (8-4) went on an 11-0 run over the next two and a half minutes to take a 17-4 advantage.
• St. Mary-of-the-Woods would maintain a double-digit lead the rest of the way, taking advantage of a 47-21 rebounding margin throughout the night.
