SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A quick start for the defending CCAC champs proved too much to overcome, as Trinity women's basketball fell on the road Saturday afternoon, 104-60 at Indiana South Bend.
Team Leaders
• Leilani Murray led the Trolls (0-8, 0-3 CCAC) with a season-high 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting, matching the highest point total for the Trolls this year.
• Sedona Anderson posted 12 points, going 5-for-9 from the floor with four assists and four rebounds.
• Lorena Arnett scored nine points to lead the bench, plus two assists, on 4-of-7 shooting.
How it Happened
• The Titans (9-0, 3-0 CCAC) used a 37-point first quarter to take control early, scoring the first 17 points of the game.
• Anderson led the Trolls in a 19-point second quarter, the team's best offensive period of the game, with all 12 of her points in the quarter.
