GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - In a defensive battle on Saturday afternoon, Trinity men's soccer would hold on for a scoreless draw on the road at Aquinas (Mich.)
The Trolls (2-2-2) got the result despite playing a man down over the final half-hour, following a second yellow card in the 62nd minute. Trinity battled through a 20-4 shot deficit, as goalkeeper Giorgos Christodoulou made nine saves to earn the draw.
Trinity will now prepare for the last of their four-match road swing, when they open conference play next Saturday, September 16 at St. Francis. Kickoff from Joliet is set for 3:30 p.m.
