PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – Senior Amena Alexander led the way for the Trolls, as three players finished in double figures to earn Trinity's first win of the year, 54-47 over the visiting Judson Eagles.

• Senior guard Amena Alexander led the way, scoring a career-high 15 points in the win. Alexander also recorded seven rebounds, six assists, and five steals.

• Sedona Anderson posted 12 points with six rebounds.

• Desire Berrien scored 12 points on 6-of-9 shooting, while grabbing five steals in the win.

How it Happened

• The Trolls led early, with Anderson's jumper putting Trinity ahead 9-6 with under three minutes in the first quarter, but Judson closed out the period with five unanswered to take a 11-9 lead.

• The Eagles would lead by as much as four points in a back-and-forth second quarter, with a three-pointer from Alexander in the final minute giving Trinity a 24-23 edge at the half.

• Trinity opened on an 11-3 run to start the second half, taking a 35-26 lead midway through the third quarter. Back-to-back threes from Anderson closed out the period to give the Trolls a 41-33 advantage they would hold the rest of the way.
