PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – Kyla Smith led the Trolls with 16 points, but Trinity were unable to keep pace with the visiting Redhawks on Saturday afternoon, snapping a two-game win streak and falling at home to Indiana Northwest, 83-54.

Five points from Goodwin in the first quarter would keep the Trolls within reach, but the Redhawks would close the opening period with back-to-back threes, outscoring Trinity 8-2 over the final two minutes to take a 16-9 edge going into the second quarter.

Amena Alexander's three at the 9:11 mark of the second quarter brought Trinity to within three points, 17-14 before the Redhawks would score a 10-1 run in response, and would hold the lead the rest of the way.

Goodwin would finish the day with a double-double, recording 14 points and 15 rebounds. Desire Berrien pulled down ten rebounds and finished with six points.

Trinity will look to start another win streak on Wednesday night, when they host St. Ambrose. Tipoff from DeVos Gymnasium is set for 5:30 p.m.
