LA CROSSE, Wisc. – Trinity's two-match win streak was snapped on Tuesday afternoon, as the Trolls were held scoreless in a 1-0 road loss at Viterbo.

Falling by a final score of 1-0 for the fifth time this season, the Trolls were in a scoreless draw through the first half, holding off the host V-Hawks who out-shot Trinity by a 7-2 margin.

In the second half, both teams generated five shots apiece, but in the 53rd minute Viterbo would break through with the lone goal of the match. Ivan Perez led the Trolls with two shots on goal, and three shots overall, while goalkeeper Samuel Negus registered four saves on the day.

The Trolls will look to close out the regular season with a win, as Trinity hits the road to take on Governors State in a rematch of the 2024 CCAC Tournament Final. Kickoff with the Jaguars is set for Oct. 31 at 7:00 p.m. in Crown Point, Ind.
