PALOS HEIGHTS, Ill. – After a scoreless drought over three straight matches, Trinity Men's Soccer has tallied seven goals in the last 180 minutes, after the Trolls earned a 3-0 win over St. Francis on Wednesday at the Schaaf Athletic Complex.

The Trolls struck early, as Ismael Aguero fired from beyond the midfield stripe, beating the Saints keeper playing outside of the box for an early 1-0 lead and the senior's second goal of the season.

Before the close of the first half, David Hernandez would double Trinity's lead, scoring in the 33rd minute with his team-leading sixth goal of the year.

Out-shooting St. Francis by a 7-0 margin in the first half, Trinity continued to control the majority of possession after the break, resulting in the first goal of the year for Robert Turner, coming in the 69th minute.

Trinity will go for three wins in a row this weekend, when they travel to St. Ambrose on Saturday, Oct. 11. Kickoff with the Bees is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
