NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Trinity would lead from start to finish for the first time this season, as four Trolls finished in double figures during a dominant road win, 92-72 at Holy Cross on Wednesday night.
Three-pointers from Danny Staskunas, Johnny Dieck, and Tylan Harris gave the Trolls an early 15-7 advantage four minutes into the game. Another Harris three would give Trinity a double-digit lead, 21-10 at the 14:25 mark as the Trolls controlled the game the rest of the way, eventually taking a 49-26 lead into the halftime break.
Garrett Greene led the Trolls with 23 points, going 9-for-11 from the floor. Chris Cross tallied 16 points with five rebounds and a pair of assists. Staskunas nearly posted a double-double with 15 points and nine boards, while Tylan Harris finished with 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting.
The Trolls will close out the regular season on Saturday, with a trip to St. Ambrose. Tipoff with the Bees is set for 3:00 p.m.
