BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Zach Supanich would lead the Trolls with eight kills on the night, but Trinity would come up short at Olivet Nazarene on Tuesday, falling in straight sets to the Tigers.

The host Tigers would take the opening set 25-14, leading start to finish before Trinity bounced back in game two. Kills from Supanich and Conner Dargan would give the Trolls an early 4-2 lead. Later in the set a three-point run behind kills from Sam Cain and C.J. Lafin, along with a Supanich ace, would stretch Trinity's advantage to 9-5. Olivet Nazarene would tie the game with six of the next eight points, and took their first lead of the set with a four-point rally, 15-12.

The Tigers would go on to take the second set 25-20, before leading start to finish in a 25-13 game three.

Supanich posted eight kills with a .200 attack percentage to lead the Trinity attack. Tim Slattery and Caden Figus each picked up 11 assists, and Samuel Kwan anchored the defense with seven digs.

Trinity now prepares for the final match of their three-game road swing, taking place next Tuesday at Calumet. First serve with the Crimson Wave is set for 7:00 p.m.
