CHICAGO, Ill. – Trinity struggled to the tune of four base hits over two games on Tuesday, as the Trolls fell in a doubleheader to CCAC leaders #19 Saint Xavier, 8-0 and 11-0, both by run rule.

Lauryn Packard finished with a base hit in each game, going a combined 2-for-5. Saint Xavier would post early leads with three runs in the 1st inning of game one, and four more in the 1st to start game two, and pulled away throughout the rest of the game.

The Trolls will look to bounce back on Thursday, when they return to the Schaaf Athletic Complex to host St. Francis. First pitch in a doubleheader with the Saints is set for 2:30 p.m.
