ELGIN, Ill. -- The Trinity Christian College softball team recorded two Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference victories on the road at Judson Monday (March 30). The Trolls won the first game 5-3 then were victorous in the second 9-1 in five innings.

The Trolls added three insurance runs in the sixth to extend their lead to 5-1. Anna Lisa Fluder drove in Zoey Fleischauer with an RBI single, and Caitlin Hernandez followed with a two-run single to score Fluder and Halie LaGrange.
The Eagles attempted to rally in the bottom of the seventh, scoring two runs, but TCC limited the damage to secure the win. Peyton Lowden (3-11) earned the victory in the circle, tossing a complete game. She allowed 10 hits and three runs (two earned), walked one and struck out four.
GAME 2: Trinity Christian 9, Judson 1 (5 innings)
Both teams were scoreless in the first inning before Trinity Christian broke through in the second with three runs to take a 3-0 lead.
Caitlin Hernandez drove in Halie LaGrange and Alexa Chapman with a two-run single, then later scored when Anna Lisa Fluder brought her home with a double. The Eagles scored their lone run of the game in the fourth inning, which was unearned.
The Trolls added six more runs in the fifth to extend their lead to 9-1. Halie LaGrange began the scoring after reaching on an error that allowed Peyton Lowden to score. Caitlin Hernandez later drew a bases-loaded walk to bring home Sophia Loza.
Anna Lisa Fluder reached on an error, scoring LaGrange and Jenna Hughes. Back-to-back RBI groundouts by Alana Harlow and Jessica Pleckham capped the scoring.
Zoey Fleischauer earned the complete-game victory, tossing all five innings while allowing four hits and one unearned run.
