Eagles put pressure on Trolls' defense, resulting in 0-2 loss

Box Score

The Trinity men's soccer team traveled to Elgin, Illinois to face the Judson University Eagles. Although they kept the score even in the first half, they weren't able to secure a win in the end, losing 0-2 to Judson.

No team was able to grab a goal in the first half, even with the amount of shots put on goal. Trinity was only able to get one shot on goal in the first half, but Judson put up nine, with junior goalkeeper Mathis Muller making three saves.

But once the second half began, the Trolls were not able to hold off the Eagles. With two goals in the 62nd and 65th minutes, Judson took the lead and never looked back, resulting in a 0-2 loss for Trinity.

Throughout the game, junior Fekadu Timmermans was able to get two shots while freshman Matt Tamminga was able to put up two, with one on goal. Senior Tate Rozeveld also got in one shot during the 90 minutes.

The Trolls will be back in action again this Saturday, Oct. 19, as they prepare to take on the Robert Morris Eagles beginning at 2:30 p.m. at Schaaf Athletics Complex.
