Pennington, Decker lead Trolls in loss to Crimson Wave

The Trinity men's basketball team competed against a CCAC opponent in the Calumet College of St. Joseph Crimson Wave. After a hard-fought match between the two teams, it was the Crimson Wave who came out on top over the Trolls with a score of 71-56.

The Trolls kept the game close in the first half, scoring 27 points compared to the Crimson Wave's 33. But in the second half, Calumet widened the gap between them and the Trolls to finish with the win.

Leading Trinity for the night was redshirt sophomore James Pennington, who scored 15 points. He also finished with seven rebounds and a team-high five assists. Senior Josh Decker also shined for the Trolls, scoring 14 points while going four for four on three-point field goals. He also grabbed seven rebounds and two assists.

The Trolls will be back in action again tomorrow night as they head to The Crown College in Powell, Tenn. before heading to Central Michigan University for an exhibition match on Saturday.
