Box Score The Trinity men's basketball team traveled to Powell, Tenn. to take on The Crown College in a non-conference game. The Trolls were able to keep control the entire match, defeating their opponent 105-86.
Senior Deantre DeYoung led the Trolls, scoring a season-high 21 points, which is the most that anyone on the team scored this season. He was also able to contribute five rebounds and two steals.
Along with DeYoung, four other Trolls were able to register double-digit points on the night. Reshirt sophomore James Pennington finished with 15 points while also grabbing four assists. Freshman Erik Cohn ended up third on the team in scoring with 14 points while also adding three assists and two blocks. Freshman Vince Overway and junior Josh Decker also registered 12 points each.
Senior Josh Shannon, although not finishing at the top with points, recorded a team-high 13 rebounds while also earning the most blocks and assists on the team with six and four, respectively.
Trinity will be back in action again on Saturday as they play in an exhibition match against Central Michigan University.
