The Trinity men's basketball team traveled to Davenport, Iowa for their first CCAC game of the season. Although the Trolls were close in the first half, they let the Fighting Bees take the lead, losing the game 59-79.

In the first half, the Trolls kept the game close, only being down one point before heading to the locker room. But once they stepped back onto the court, their field goal percentage dropped by 20 percent, in the second half, giving St. Ambrose an opening to take the lead and the game.

Leading the Trolls on the night was junior TJ Lacey, who registered 16 points on the night along with three rebounds. Redshirt sophomore James Pennington and senior Deantre DeYoung both grabbed 11 points each, with Pennington getting six rebounds and DeYoung grabbing four.

The Trolls will be back in action again on Friday and Saturday as they host the Troll Classic. The teams who will be in the tournament are Saint Xavier, Cornerstone and Lawrence Tech.
